Noble Audio BTS

This and That:

Comes with a nice pouch and a short 2-pin headphone cable (a nice one with twisted connectors).

Made of glossy plastic. Looks quite good.
Built-in shirt clip. Very nice.

"Power on" and "power off" announcement. Jingles. Loud. Beeps when changing the volume. Annoying.

Generally loud.

Sound:

Frequency Response (no Load):

Minimal and audibly irrelevant increase towards the sub-bass.
Early upper treble roll-off that is definitely not desired.

Frequency Response (various Loads), Output Impedance:

Distinct bass roll-off using rather low impedance loads indicates very poorly calculated and dimensioned coupling capacitors.
The stated output impedance of less than one Ohm is not true either but higher, as the measurements with the multi-BA in-ears show.
It's just a mess all around and will only perform and sound tonally true into a high ohm load (such as my Beyerdynamic DT 880 Edition 600 Ohm or a Line In). That's really poor performance.

Hiss Performance:

Moderate hiss when using my Shure SE846. Neither good nor bad.

Subjective Sound Perception:

The sound is okay using a source that transmits a proper wireless codec. Not audibly transparent yet, but still okay. The otherwise very poor performance is however a clear call to stay away from this device with about anything, especially with in-ears where the BTS performs piss poor.

Conclusion:

Rubbish.
